After a failed bid for an infinite source of magical power leaves a kingdom desolated and devoid of all natural life, the last battlemage of a lost civilization leaves behind her daughter to discover the fate of her family, friends and future. Nerae delves into the disorienting palace at the old capital, now reduced to frozen ruins as space and time itself lose more and more meaning by the minute.

An open-ended platformer with a world disorienting by design, collect embers to increase your max HP and collect crystals to increase your max MP. Once two bosses - the crystal Siphon and the gargantuan snowflake Conglomerate - are defeated, ascend the unblocked final tower to reach the mana singularity.

Controls

Jump with Z, move with arrow keys and hold left shift to run. Hold X to shoot out firebolts, hold up or down to aim them in the respective direction.

After collecting one mana crystal, jump in midair for a double jump. After collecting a second, jump in midair after your double jump while holding a direction to airdash.

Pressing ESC will pause the game, but pausing might not fully work.

Your progress is automatically saved upon collecting an ember or crystal. You can reset your progress from the title screen.
